1 The distribution of the total  employed by type of economic activity is made through a complex estimate based on integration of data from labour force survey, the state statistical observations over enterprises and administrative reporting. Data for 2012-2018 are given excluding the temporarily occupied territories of the Autonomous Republic of Crimea, the city of Sevastopol, from 2015 – also excluding a part of temporarily occupied territories in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions.

2 Including a number of temporary employees involved in the preparation and holding of elections in 2012, of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine; in 2014, of the President’s of Ukraine and of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine; in 2015, deputies of local councils and village, town and city heads, in 2019, of the President’s of Ukraine and of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine.
